If I purchase a car today, can I drive it home?
In most cases, yes. The purchaser must have full insurance coverage in order for Davis Auto Center to issue registration and tags, temporary or permanent, for Virginia or Maryland.
 

Speaking of temporary tags, how long are they good for?
Temporary tags are issued by the Virginia Department Motor Vehicles, and are valid for 30 days from date of sale. However, in some cases Davis Auto Center is able to issue you your permanent tags and registration at the time of sale. This is true for both Maryland and Virginia drivers. We are even able to transfer your existing tags without the use of a temporary tag. For details call today.
 

Can I transfer tags from my trade in?
Yes! Davis Auto Center is able to collect tax & tag payments for both Virginia DMV & Maryland MVA, so we can transfer tags & issue permanent tags on-site! No more standing in that dreaded motor vehicle line!
 

Do you accept trade-ins on any of the cars?
Most of our vehicles on the lot, we will accept trade-ins. However, on some of our lesser priced vehicles, we do not take trade-ins. Please give us a call for further information.
 

What type of warranties do you have on your vehicles?
On the lot we have warranty coverage for 30 days or 3,000 miles on most of our vehicles. This covers the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. When you purchase your vehicle, it may qualify for a 12, 24, or 36 month extended warranty. We can give you more information on this warranty when you stop by.
 

How can I get my payment to you?
You can pay your payment one of four ways. You can stop by our offices during our business hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am to 12 pm. If you are running late and cannot make it during those hours, we have a payment box in the front of the building beside the loading door on the right of the entry doors, and you can drop it in there with your name. Or you can mail it to us. For your convenience we have also included a private, secure Online Payment Page. Now you can make a payment with a credit card online in the comfort of your own home or office.
